Wonderful slices of pizza! I had the Cheesesteack and Grandma slices and they were delicious. Other members of the group liked the cheesesteak. Person at the counter was very nice and chatted with us. We were eating our slices when Jimmy Carter died R.I.P. . Nice walk to the Met after this too.

Truly one of the best pizza places in the Philadelphia area. The prices are high, but if you want high-quality pizza, I think that they are worth it. A slice runs about $5 and whole pies can be $25-35. The crust is crisp, the toppings are plentiful, and the taste is perfect. The interior is vaguely mid century modern with a touch of plant dad, with splashes of orange on the walls and plants of all shapes and sizes. The owner is passionate about his craft, and it shows as soon as you walk in!

I've been wanting to try this place so I placed an order online for takeout. Let me just say, the large pizzas are REALLY large! I was surprised that I could get a pizza of that size for under $30. I also like the unique types of specialty pizzas they have. I tried the Long Hot pizza and I normally don't even like sausage on pizza but this one was delicious. For the price, these pizzas are great for sharing and I would definitely come back to try different pizzas.

I got the large long hot pizza and the sandwich special for takeout. This pizza is absolutely enormous and definitely worth the price. The crust is soft and the pizza has a unique and delicious flavor. The sandwich special also was packed with vegetables that provided good texture and flavor to the chicken. Overall satisfied with the food. I would definitely go back to try more of their pizzas.

Everyday I get to eat Wood St Pizza is a good day. I'm hard pressed not to step in for at least a slice every time I'm in the neighborhood. The shop is always clean and very rarely crowded. Most folks seem to stop by for a quick bite and a listen to the classic hip hop usually playing. The pizza is thin, crisp, and flavorful with a great sauce to cheese ration in my opinion. The grandma slice is one of my favorites! I also love their fries which are classic, crispy, but fluffy served in a greasy brown paper bag. The chicken thighs are always a fav of mine well seasoned and juicy! It definitely beats wings for me. Everything is made even better with a side of the fresh dill ranch...which is super creamy, tangy, and herbaceous. You can tell that it's made with love. I'm also a huge fan of their cheesesteaks! I would say it's an elevated steak from what you can find at some of the philly cult classic spots. You don't have to ask for salt and pepper here because it already comes well seasoned and well portioned. It tastes high quality. My only notes for this place is the chicken sandwich is too thick for me, especially on a stiff seeded roll. It is an intimidating bite. I also usually just stick to their "classic" pizza flavors instead of the specialty slices. Anyway, wood st is one of the best in Philly for me!

The pizza is excellent. Great place to get a slice. But don't sleep on the other food. Sandwiches, salads... all high-quality ingredients and delicious. Check social media for specials. Never had a bad dish here. I've stopped in for a slice and picked up a whole pie to take home and share. I've tried some of the specials. It's a favorite in my household and among friends. The space is small but clean and more stylish than many other pizza parlors.

The staff was super friendly and location was great as there is not much else in the area. I went with my usual cheese slice which was ok. The French fries were really nice and salty. The spinach and ricotta slice was definitely a step up over the cheese. I did definitely like the music they had, it gave a great vibe.
